The mixture of light in the spectrum that emits from a dawn sun is some of the most healing, potent, and activating light we can receive. The ancient Egyptians carried out morning rituals of sun-gazing to awaken and stimulate the pineal gland. Modern studies confirm what the ancient Egyptians knew, and also add that dawn sunlight stimulates important photosensitive cells in the retina, that link directly to the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus region of the brain. It is safe for the eyes to look at the sun as long as it is no higher in the sky than 2 fingers held out at arms length toward the horizon. In addition to the physiological benefits, we can personally say that witnessing the sunrise starts our mornings off with total inspiration and awe for this majestic daily awakening event.
Wishing you elixirs of dawn and day and all other kinds of beautiful light!
We love you!
